Travel from Alice Springs through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Stop at Jim’s Place for breakfast (own expense) then later at Atila (Mt. Conner) lookout for morning tea (own expense). Travel on to Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. Join a base tour of Uluru and guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole where you can view Aboriginal rock paintings. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and learn more about Tjukurpa (law) of the Anangu people.   Visit Kata Tjuta, where you can take a walk between the massive domes at Walpa Gorge. Travel back to the Uluru sunset viewing area to witness the changing colours of Uluru while sipping a complimentary wine or juice, followed by a picnic dinner. After dinner return to Alice Springs.

Travel on the Arnhem Highway across the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains. Stop at Nourlangie Rock, where your
guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art.  After lunch join the local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of birdlife for which this region in renowned. Visit the Warrandjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu.
